Harrison is a visual storyteller who excels at using design and art to create engaging and memorable digital experiences. Harrison believes every brand, company and person has a unique story worth telling and leans into his background in journalism to create an experience that reflects that story. 

Harrison has helped grow brands and companies all around the United States, from investment management firms to used luxury car dealerships. As the Lead Designer for the My HealtheVet (MHV) Medications tool, he helped guide the integration from a standalone service onto MHV’s new home on VA.gov. Working closely with Veteran users, stakeholders, and other designers, Harrison helped design a pharmacy experience that exceeds industry standards and is curated for the unique needs of our United States Veteran community.

Since 2016, Harrison has worked as a freelance photographer, writer and web designer. He specializes in motorsport photography as well as weddings and portraiture. Currently he works with the London-based creative agency Polar to provide ultra-luxury brands with photography and video. Examples of his work can be found at harrisonamelang.com.  

In his free time Harrison can be found outside with a camera in hand, at the race track, or at the golf course working on his game.
